A Shared Congregation of
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
& The United Church of Christ
MAKING DISCIPLES: INSIDE AND OUT
We, the members of Huff's Union Church, desiring to be blessed together with Word and Sacrament and to become evermore the Body of Christ in our world, do hereby commit ourselves to a ministry which includes increasingly meaningful worship, creative Christian Education, intentional witnessing, dedicated service, and responsible support.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
In 2000, two separate congregations, Huff's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Huff's United Church of
Christ, who had worshiped in the same building for many years, began living as one. A shared ministry congregation. Here one finds the best of both traditions of the Reformation, with a willingness to look at the future and adapt to it.

The Latest News From Huff's
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Mark your calendar for July 13 through July 17, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m! All children in the community ages 3-11 are invited to join us for a week of fun and play as Huff’s Church hosts Snowball Mountain Challenge, which is based on Philippians 4:13 NRSV, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Snowball Mountain Challenge is an exciting winter sports event where kids become challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about faith and resilience. Every day includes storytelling, music, science, games, and a snack.
Playtime and learning about the Bible help children grow. They are an important way for children to interact and use their creativity.
Our 2026 VBS is coordinated by Melissa Benfield along with a great supporting group of staff and helpers. To register or to find out more call/text Melissa Benfield. We still are in need of volunteers!
