Wilmer A Lesher
Wilmer A. Lesher, 84, widower of Ruth M. (Conrad) Lesher, of Church Road, East Greenville, died on November 15, 2008 in Life Quest Nursing Center, Quakertown. Born in Palm, Pa., he was a son of the late James and Annie (Gehris) Lesher. He was a farmer and owner of Leshers Mill, Palm, for many years. He was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Congregation of Huffs Church. Survivors: Children, James C. Lesher and his wife, Rebecca, of Palm, Perry F. Lesher of Voorhees, N.J. and Ruthann L., wife of Daryl Elliott, of Keyser, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Brian Lesher, Michelle Boyle, Deborah Sabastro, Mark Elliott and Ashley Elliott; six great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Isaac Lesher, and two sisters, Edith Leister and Minnie Breisch. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, with the Rev. Jane Moffat Kropa officiating. Interment is in Huffs Union Cemetery, Alburtis.
