| Easton Area Neighborhood Center Community Garden |
| In fall 2006, some of our youth group members and some of our adults traveled to the Easton Area Neighborhood Center to revitalize a community garden. In one day they transformed a weedy, overgrown patch into a field that could be worked. In 2008, 12 plots were used by local residents to grow food. The produce raised helped feed the gardener's own families, and some was donated to the food bank at the center. This year 16 plots are being used by local residents! This success was partly due to the caring group of Huff Church folks who got the ball rolling. |
